Thank you Thailand

Thank you Thailand

After almost two months in Thailand it is time for me to move on. As always in this country it has been a good stay and it is very easy to understand why people keep coming back. The weather, the food, the people, the nature and the atmosphere. This was my third time in Thailand but I do not think it is the last. There are still more things to discover; more islands to enjoy and more mountain hikes to be explored. I will be back.

Meeting a good friend
By a lucky coincidence I had an old colleague and friend that arrived in Koh Pha Ngan just after my meditation retreat. Old as in that we met many years ago. She is definitely not old. =) Anyway, we decided to meet up before my departure from Thailand. She had booked a very nice resort in Haad Rin Beach so I joined her there for a few days. The hotel was far off my budget for accommodation but I guess sometimes you need to treat yourself a bit. I will just have to compensate for that later with some cheap rooms again. We had some great days catching up and just enjoying our surroundings. It was so nice to meet someone that I know from back home for a bit. Thanks for the company.

But now it is time to move on again. Next country – Malaysia!
